Meet Your Trainers
Morgan is the head of personal training and strength and conditioning at TPS Sports Performance. She has been an athlete her entire life, excelling in volleyball, basketball, and track. She continued her volleyball career at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, IA. After attending Kirkwood, she transferred to the University of Northern Iowa and graduated with honors as she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Movement and Exercise Science with an emphasis in Movement and Exercise Science, Sport Psychology, and an additional minor in coaching. She is currently a graduate student at Concordia University Chicago earning her Master’s degree in Applied Exercise Science.
While earning her degree from UNI, she worked at the university’s Wellness and Recreation Center as a personal trainer and as an assistant for the university’s fitness program. Along with working, she spent a semester volunteering as an assistant strength and conditioning coach for UNI’s volleyball team, working under former Minnesota Vikings strength coach, Jed Smith’s, supervision.
Aside from her work in college, Morgan has 4 years of volleyball coaching experience, working with athletes ranging from 4th to 12th grade. She is currently the freshmen and assistant varsity volleyball coach at Montini Catholic High School and also a volleyball coach for Chicago Elite club volleyball.

Matt is a personal trainer and head of strength and conditioning for our baseball clientele at TPS Sports Performance. He grew up in South Florida where he began participating in sports at the age of 3. His baseball experience led him to the Midwest where he attended Kirkwood Community College to continue playing after high school. After graduating from Kirkwood, he received a full-ride scholarship to continue playing baseball at Chicago State University, a NCAA Division I program.
Matt recently finished his first season as a professional baseball player for the Roswell Invaders, leading his team in all offensive categories and leading the league in RBIs and doubles. He is currently the Assistant Baseball Coach and Strength and Conditioning Coach at College of DuPage. He also gives group and individual hitting lessons at The Perfect Swing.
Matt found his love for strength training as a sophomore in high school. As he progressed through college, he enjoyed seeing his progress from the weight room positively reflect his performance on the field. He believes that training and proper nutrition are the key components to reaching an athlete’s full potential. Regardless of your current physical fitness level, Matt has the ability to create a custom workout that will get you where you want to be.
